This is the first Charm of the Dragon Transcendent Speed style, operating at the most basic level of both the philosophy and the manipulation of time that characterise the style. It is also the basic foundation for all the later Charms. With mental and spiritual exercises developed to quick execution by long practise, the user subtly twists the flow of time within the inner realm of her own mind, allowing her thoughts, for a few seconds, to move faster; allowing for crucial observations and decisions to be made at higher speed. And through this, the user first becomes aware of the flow of time around them, and how the exercises they have performed have allowed them to bend it.
The martial artist invokes this Charm when performing their Join Battle action. This Charm assures them of a minimum of their permanent Essence in Join Battle successes.
