The Chosen of Secrets take what is theirs. By spending the same as the Lesser Sign, plus a point of willpower, the Sidereal may read the minds of all about her and take their secrets. The Sidereal looks at someone and rolls (Perception+Essence) against the targets MDV. On a success, she may learn secrets from her victim. The Sidereal learns one thing the victim most wants kept hidden for every success over the MDV on the roll, up to her Essence rating. Two points of willpower negate the MDV of the attack. Essence users may become aware of this psychic assault; roll the victim’s (Wits+Essence) against a difficulty of the successes the Sidereal gained on the attack. Should they succeed, they realise someone has invaded their mind, and may spend willpower to block the attack (Two willpower if the Sidereal spent willpower to negate their DV). They also become aware if the Sidereal botches her roll. In either case, the person can sense the general location of whoever’s trying to read their mind, but not specifically.
This charm permanently enhances the Secrets anima power. Only a Chosen of Secrets or a Sidereal (or Moonshadow or Eclipse Caste) with Secrets Exalt Ways may learn this charm, otherwise it is exclusive to Jupiter’s Chosen.
