Having mastered the rigors of warfare and observed the ebb and flow of the field of battle, the great generals of the Lawgivers know that valour and fear are mighty forces that they must contend with. Those champions of the Dawn who study the innate powers of their anima can learn to bolster its effects, channeling their essence through either their own sheer dedication to victory or their unshakable courage. Through their eyes, the windows to their unconquerable soul, their sheer unstoppable might becomes apparent and can set fear into even the bravest of their foes.
A Solar who has enhanced their anima through this Charm gains additional power, enhancing the fearful glare of their essence along their line of sight. By spending a dot of willpower reflexively at any time while their anima is active, any target that they can see, and whom they look upon with hostility, feels a deep and terrible dread at becoming a target for that Lawgiver’s invincible fury. Mortals must make a Valour roll at a difficulty equal to half the Solar’s Essence to avoid fleeing, and everyone, even supernatural beings, who dare to meet their gaze are stricken with hesitation, increasing the Solar’s DV against them by 2. This is all in addition to the normal effects of the character’s anima.
This Charm can even effect social or Mass Combat units, provided the unit is not of such magnitude that the Solar cannot look at them all at once. Because of that, this anima enhancement becomes even more powerful at long range.
