The Hidden Suns are at home in the darkness, when their patron has passed his eye to other things. Their anima allows them to wrap themselves in shadow, capable of concealing both their light and their passing. Those who recognize their connection to Creation and the bonds it places upon them can build upon their power to escape detection; they slip free of their connections and send them… somewhere else. In so doing, they can conceal their very existence.
Spending 10 motes and 1 willpower, or simply 1 willpower if their veiling anima is already active, the character appears to blur and fade, as if they have dematerialized. Even those with essence sight, however, can no longer perceive them; anything which would betray their presence has been sent into Elsewhere. Or almost anything; their shadow remains, though it is rendered so weak that it is visible only in the brightest sunlight. Because they leave their shadow behind, the Exalt can still perceive Creation as if it were a faint charcoal sketch over the grey nothingness of Elsewhere’s edge; increase the difficulty of all rolls to percieve anything in Creation by 4. But aside from their shadow, they are utterly undetectable, and are considered to be Outside Fate; any tracks or other evidence they leave remain only in Elsewhere, and even those who manage to touch them forget what they felt immediately, as the memory of the contact is drawn away and cast from Creation.
