The Lawgivers are the ultimate expression of heroism and bravery. Their power shines even stronger when they exert themselves to push past their own limits.

This Charm can be activated with 1 Willpower when the character does a stunt. Instead of regaining motes or Willpower normally with the stunt, the Lawgiver will recover (Essence x stunt dice) motes. The character can recover up to 20 motes from any combination of Charms in the same action.

Clarification: the 20 motes limit is caps the maximum amount of Essence the character can regain from any combination of Charms (including this one) during a single one of her actions. This is the same limit as Essence-Gathering Temper.

I'm not clear on that last bit...

Are you saying that characters can regain up to 20 motes INCLUDING those from this Charm, or IN ADDITION TO those from this Charm?

If it's the former, does that mean this Charm caps the amount you can gain from another Charm which allows for more?
