Sidereal Larceny
Cost: 4 motes
Mins: Larceny 4, Essence 3
Type: Reflexive
Duration: (Essence) minutes
Keywords: Fate, Hours*
Prerequisites: Any Larceny Excellency
Follow-ups: None

Time is the greatest thief of all, and no man sees its entry. The Sidereal spends 4 motes, and time stops in an area equal to (Essence x100) yards for a number of minutes equal to her essence rating. The Sidereal may move freely, though taking a hostile action against anyone frozen in time ends the effects of the charm instantly, with the backlash along the threads of fate inflicting (Larceny) levels of unsoakable bashing damage to the Sidereal as they snap back into position around her. The Sidereal may operate doors and very simple machinery, as well as move and pick up objects, though it is impossible to remove personal items or artifacts from frozen individuals. This charm has no effect on creatures outside of Fate, and may only be used once per scene.

The Hours keyword means only the Chosen of Hours, should any exist, may learn this charm without a teacher. Even other characters who have larceny as an auspicious or favoured ability may not do so. Also, there is a 1-mote surcharge on the use of any charm with the Hours keyword by anyone who is not a Chosen of Pluto. Should Pluto be fully healed, this keyword will no longer exist.
