Expanding the martial artist’s control over the flow of events, this Charm (and its twin, Unassailable Rapidity of Defense) allows the user to begin accelerating their physical actions. Though no match for the more powerful Charms of the style, it can still have a powerful effect. The martial artist focuses on the passage of time around them, on the speed of the changes within their anima, and with the force of their Essence concentrates it into a higher rate at the instant that they attack. This unexpected burst of speed allows them to strike faster than their foe can defend themselves.
Every 2 motes spent to supplement an attack with this Charm allows the user to reduce their opponent’s DV by 1. They can reduce their opponent’s DV by no more than half their Martial Arts + Essence.
