The expenditure of magical power leaves a gap in the soul. Normally this gap is too small to notice, but the Mage Slayer can exploit it and force it open, creating a sucking maw that wounds his victim. This charm supplements an unarmed attack. Should the attack strike, the attack resolves as normal. In addition to this, however, the martial artist creates a mystic sapping void in the target. This creates a second damage pool, resolved seperately to that of the attack itself. For every 3 motes missing from the victim’s dice pool (including committed essence) add a die of pre-soak damage to this pool. The pool bypasses normal soak and armour, and is instead soaked by the victim’s Essence rating. This attack pool can be enhanced in no way and the damage inflicted is Bashing.
