After having fought for his inner demense for a long time the guardian has learned how to rely on his instincts. He knows his body’s actions, its reactions and its mentality. He knows it feels a need to protect its manse. But relying on his instincts to protect him takes a bit of courage as if relying on a friend to save your life. So by dedicating some motes and a willpower, the fighter gains the courage to rely on his instints to protect him with a dice pool equal to permanent essence times two on a reflexive parry roll and he may parry lethal with his bare hands if it is in a stunt.
