The greatest works of art are more than pigment and canvas. The skill of an enlightened artist produces works that transcend mere beauty, and tap into the infinite wellspring of the world’s Essence.

This Charm is used to supplement a Dramatic Action to create an item. If successful, the item becomes an Essence reservoir, with a pool of motes equal to (Its Resources value + Maker’s Essence) x (Threshold Successes on Creation).

To access this pool, a user must attune the item as if it were an artifact. Thereafter, he can draw upon these extra motes as a reflexive action at any time he is in view of the item. Only one person may be attuned to the item at a time.

Replenishing these motes is only possible by lavishing care and attention on the item- polishing a bronze urn, touching up and cleaning paintings, etc. As a dramatic action taking one hour, any person can make a (Lower of Perception or Dexterity) + Essence + Craft roll, difficulty of the item’s Resource value. Each success restores one mote.

If the item is ever damaged or drained of all its motes, it loses its ephemeral quality and becomes a normal item. This Charm cannot be re-applied to a drained item- it functions only in the act of creation.
