Mage-Slayer Style is an ancient Martial Art, dating to the early wars between the Exalted, long before the Era of Dreams. Devised by a Night Caste as a means of assassinating the more sorcerously-inclined of his brethren based on his No Moon mate’s study of the Void, the style exploits the metaphysical hollow left in the body of those that have spent motes of essence, as well as forcing them to burn motes to give the martial artist an advantage. Powerful but narrowly focused, the style is of limited utility against those that rely on their own skill over magical prowess. In the Second Age the Style is practiced primarily by the Sidereal Exalted, though the sifus who know it prefer to keep the knowledge to themselves and their most trusted servants, for it is a powerful tool against the Exalted. Aside from them the style is mostly forgotten save by some Lunar Exalted and several Deathlords, who gladly equip their Chosen with a skillset so closely tied to the Void.

Mage-Slayer Style is a Celestial Martial Art. It must be practiced without armour, but practitioners may treat attacks made with cesti, iron boots, fate rings, sai and their artifact equivalents as unarmed for the purposes of the style’s charms. Oddly, some practitioners have reported that the Spread-the-Water Knife may also be used with the Style, but that weapon is rare enough that most martial artists do not bother with it.
