After the Burning of the Heptagram, when Ryushi had stolen the Solar head from Octavian’s belt, the swordsman knew that the Quarter Prince would come seeking a replacement – his own. He retreated into the desert, forging Essence into a weapon that would destroy the demon once and for all.
The glowing runes of Heaven’s displeasure emblazon themselves on the Lawgiver’s weapon. He charges further Essence into his weapon, which begins to tremble in his hands. He attacks his target using his signature style, sending the aura around his weapon to explode into a corona of gold around the target. For a moment the glyphs appear in brilliant lettering to spell out the judgment of death, and the corona explodes violently. If the demon could not avoid damage entirely, Essence will be drawn back along the path of the blast to the Lawgiver himself.
The Lawgiver makes a single attack out to (Essence x 8) yards. If Iron Raptor Technique is invoked as Sandstorm-Wind Attack, the attack is unblockable. The Lawgiver may add attack dice, and the attack receives an automatic success to hit. Any net attack successes are doubled.
The damage is aggravated against spirits, and post-soak damage is doubled. If the Lawgiver successfully inflicts even a Health Level of damage, he receives (Essence x 2) motes from a spiritual target.
In conjunction with Infinite Melee Mastery, this Combo can be very affordable in terms of Essence cost. The only disadvantage is the cost of 2 Willpower.
Activation Cost: 11m 2W to unblockably attack at range, or 9m 2W to attack at range, 1m/attack die, 2m on a successful hit to siphon Essence, plus 4m/parry.
