Prince Thalo stood and faced the little god, shoulders back, chin up, with the tip of his daiklave resting in the dust. His pose was arrogant, taunting the spirit as if to say, Here is my throat. Here is my soft underbelly. Take my life, if you can.
But the little god was wary, and kept his distance. The prince’s stance was too open, too inviting. He sensed that if he were to make his move, it would be his throat, and his soft underbelly which would be rent. The twinkle in Thalo’s smiling eyes revealed that this would be the outcome nonetheless.
This combo allows a Solar to assail a spirit, whether materialized or incorporeal, inflicting large amounts of aggravated damage, while at the same time turning deftly turning away any retaliatory strikes. The First Melee Excellency can be used to boost both attacks and parries made by the Solar while this combo is active.
