Dragon Kings with this Power can channel Essence to temporarily magnify their innate talents.
The Dragon King’s player can invoke this Power when making a roll based on any of their Breed or Favoured Abilities. This Power then adds one die to that roll for each mote spent. This Power is the central dice-adding Power of Dragon Kings. They can add no more dice using this Power than their Path Level.
Dragon Kings can also use this power to enhance unrolled uses of the relevant Ability, usually to increase a Defence Value, for example, by increasing (Dexterity + Dodge), if the Dragon King Favours the Dodge Ability. When enhancing static values, their player rolls one die for each mote spent on Essence Overwhelming. Each success increases an applicable static value by one.
This Power may be part of a Combo with Essence Inevitable and Essence Primeval.
