Circle: Terrestrial Circle Sorcery
Cost: 25 Motes
Target: Area
Duration: Instant

The exalted are princes of Creation, with essence potent enough that they can repeal the laws of Reality, admitedly temporarily. This spell convinces the essences of everything in a specific area that the wrath of the elemental dragons are being visited upon them.

This spell requires a sample of one of the elements, or alternatively an elemental or the anima flare of a dragonblooded who possess an essence of 3 or higher. With a quick murmured prayer to the elemental dragons, the sorcerer’s anima flares outwards before transforming into the appropiate element. This naturally does great damage to those caught within the range of the spell, a radius of (10 x essence of the sorcerer) yards.

However, the elemental fury is but an illusion despite what certain sorcerers would like others to think. There are no evidence of any enviromental changes or effects after the spell is finished beyond wounded or dead targets.

Upon casting the spell, the Player rolls Intelligence + Occult (+ essence die) against the MDV of everyone caught within the radius of the spell. Charms that enhance MDVs may be applied, as well as effects that grant defenses to illusions would work against this spell.

Should the occult roll defeat the MDV of the targets, the targets are inflicted with (sorcerer’s willpower + essence) die in lethal damage that may be soaked as normal enviromental damage. The appropiate immunity or defense to the element being used would also negate the effect of the spell.

The elemental variants of the spell are;

I hate you. Well, no I don't, I think the Illusionist is pretty cool. Actually, on the whole, it seems a pretty good spell. I might yoink this...if I actually play a sorceror who uses combat magic.
